Pruning!

Sometimes we go along in life,

content with the same daily routine,

never realizing the lack of growth.

Then The Gardener comes along and,

for our own good, prunes away

all that is dead and unproductive.

What is left is fresh and rejuvenated!

We have a new start at bringing

praise to The Gardener...

...glory to His Name...

...and new life to the garden.

Sweet post! Pruning and transplanting is what we are doing this Saturday. Hoping we can get the heavy work done for the season and move on to the enjoying part soon :)

Amen Raeann! I love cutting away the dead to see the new growth and need to remember that as He prunes me :)

Have a blessed day my friend!

Do I come over here now? Are you not doing the Parables blog? Or, is it just that season of year? -smile-
Pruning...yep, we need it even when we don't like it.

Dear Lady Farmer,

Ah, yes, we all need a little tidying up every now and then! Thank you for the reminder!

Love,

Marqueta

So true, and I find it so difficult to prune and I imagine God feels the same. It's hard to do, but the results are worth it.

Raeann,

It is amazing what beauty lies beneath all the dead dry brush. God sees that in us! :)
